MetasTx LLC Leadership Named New Jersey Business ICON

Basking Ridge- The 2022 NJBIZ ICON Awards recognize leaders over the age of 60 from New Jersey industries such as accounting, health care, education, financial services, commercial real estate and more for work throughout their careers — not just in their respective fields, but in the state’s larger business community as well.

Dr. Harvey Homan, CEO and Co-Founder of MetasTx LLC is among those honored this year.  Dr. Homan launched MetasTx LLC in late 2021 and is driven to create novel therapeutics to treat and prevent metastasis of cancer.   

Through HRH Associates, Dr. Homan has advanced numerous life science companies from inception through maturity.  Dr. Homan has served as CEO of Urovalve, Inc., and Ingenion Medical, Inc., that were focused on urinary tract disorders.  For Urovalve, he served as PI on 5 successful NIH SBIR grants as well as 2 grants from the New Jersey Commission of Science and Technology (total = $1.3 M). He also served as Advisor to the CEO and VP Bus Dev for SageMedic, Corp, a cancer diagnostic company.

Dr. Homan has been a Corporate Executive, Founder, Director, CEO, Investor and Advisor to pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and digital health companies.  Leadership roles at Sterling Health and Boots Company in new product development, clinical, regulatory, sales, and strategic marketing supported the commercialization of dozens of international products for major OTC brands including Bayer, Neurofen, Strepsils, Midol.  He serves as Advisory Board Member for TRx and BioMedx Accelerators at CUMC. Currently, he is also President of Keiretsu Forum NJ Chapter.
